Dec. ‘23 God is with Us!

The word for you today is God is with us. God says I will never leave you nor forsake you. Many times as we journey through life and situations arise, we often doubt if God is with us. I am wrapping up a ten day trip to Ghana and along the way, I doubted and questioned where God was. Well just like our God does, God came quickly and reminded me that God is omnipresent. God is in Memphis, Dallas, Huntsville, Fayetteville, and even Ghana. God is with us. Oh how my fear and anxiety subsided. I could now totally experience what God had for me on this journey to the motherland.

FinisHers, just as God reminded me of his ever presence in my life, can I reassure you that God is ever present with you. Let me encourage you today. God is with you too. He sees, he hears, he knows and he cares. Trust God today. Release whatever it is that makes you think God has left the building. No God is with you because God lives in your heart and soul. Go ahead, enjoy your day and your weekend. Don’t worry about a thing. Get up, get dressed and keep it moving. Don’t lay in that bed or sit on that couch depressed all weekend. Get up! God is with us! Be blessed.

Nov’23 Where is your faith?

Without faith it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to God must believe that God exists and that God rewards those who earnestly seek Him/Her. Hebrews 11:16

Webster’s dictionary defines faith as unwavering trust in God. This is a present trust, according to Webster, because God is always present. Faith ignites life for us. Without it hopelessness and despair kick in. They take over our minds, thoughts, life dreams and goals. I have faith because I am a believer. I trust God to make happen everything that God and I desire for me and my life. FinisHers with unwavering faith, lack of trust and disbelief cannot win in this game called life. Our faith must be unwavering. It may bend but it must not break. I challenge everyone reading this post to seek God with your whole heart, Seek God’s will and God’s way for your life. Trust God when you cannot trace Her. Believe God and God’s promises when everything and everybody around you says give up, admit defeat. It is not going to happen. I am crazy enough to believe that God has the final say. Seeking, trusting, believing and unwavering on this FinisHers Faith Friday. It is these things right here that have sustained this ministry for 2 years. These same things will sustain you, too! Where is your faith? You got it! Let us pray: God thank you for giving me unwavering, unbothered faith. Thank you for giving me unbothered faith. Thank you for being ever present in my life and sustaining me and my faith. I love you so much today and forever. I will always seek your face, yield to your will and way for my life and walk out this life in faith. Amen
